Hebron convention and exhibition palace
01 / 2023
The Engineers Association - [Jerusalem Branch] and The Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry have announced that Haddad Architects has won the prestigious architectural competition to design the Hebron Convention and Exhibition Palace. The competition, which attracted entries from around Palestine, sought to find the best design for a new convention and exhibition centre that would be a major landmark for the city of Hebron. The competition was highly contested, with entries from many of the leading architectural firms in Palestine. Haddad Architects' design stood out for its unique combination of functionality and aesthetics, as well as its sensitivity to the local context and culture.
The Hebron Convention and Exhibition Palace, which will be located on a 12,200 square meter plot of land, will be a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub for business, cultural, and social events in the city of Hebron. The palace will feature large exhibition halls, multiple conference rooms, a restaurant, offices and a spacious auditorium, as well as a variety of other amenities to accommodate visitors and event attendees.
We are honoured to have had the opportunity to participate in this competition and to be able to contribute to the city of Hebron with our design. We look forward to seeing our vision come to life.
