Haddad Architects has been awarded third place in the MDLF (Municipal Development and Lending Fund) headquarter design competition organised by the Engineers Association (Jerusalem Branch).

Workplace productivity is the key driver for our design approach. Boosting employees' productivity can be achieved through incorporating design elements that elevate their physical and mental health. To this end, we have designed the project from the bottom-up to be healthy, collaborative, and movement encouraging; which consequently leads the way for a productive workplace.

For a seamless workflow within the building, the project spaces 'including the variety of private, semi-private, and public spaces' were allocated within floors according to a critical analysis of the MDLF hierarchy and workflow to ensure high connectivity between related departments. Each floor has been tailored specifically to serve various modes of operation, allowing future growth and change of use.

Additionally, for the purpose of strengthening social interaction amongst employees as it is a key to elevate their creativity and productivity, the building has been designed skillfully to comprise public lounges on each floor where employees can connect informally with their co-workers and can have the opportunity to discuss work in a more relaxed, informal, and pleasant setting throughout the day.
